Why a monitor instead of a panel PC
Two video inputs, and no computer to maintain
The FPM-1202C is a 12-inch 1024 × 768 panel at 300 nits with VGA and HDMI inputs and capacitive touch over USB — and nothing else inside. On a machine that already runs an IPC, a PLC with a video output or a vision controller, that is the right shape: the screen goes on the door, the host stays in the cabinet, and there is no second operating system to patch, image or back up over the life of the machine.

A sealed aluminium front, sized for a machine door
The housing is a high-strength aluminium frame in a moulded body, finished black, with a flat front sealed to IP65 — specified for oil mist on a machining centre, coolant splash beside a grinder, and the wipe-down at shift end. The face is also shielded against electromagnetic interference, which is what you want when the monitor shares a cabinet with drives and contactors. Operating temperature is -10~50℃.

It drops into a 274.9 × 214.2 mm cutout like a panel PC, or hangs on a VESA 75 × 75 / 100 × 100 bracket — and at 2 kg it does not need a heavy arm. Power is 12V 2A through a locking 2-pin aviation connector, with a 9~36V DC version for vehicles and 24V cabinets. The box contains the power adapter, a USB touch cable and either an HDMI or a VGA cable, chosen at order so it matches the host.

What is the FPM-1202C, and how does it differ from the 9.7-inch model?
Both are industrial monitors with capacitive touch, IP65 fronts and the same VGA + HDMI inputs; the difference is the screen. The FPM-1202C is 12-inch at 1024 × 768 with a 291.3 × 229.8 × 46.5 mm housing and a 274.9 × 214.2 mm cutout, so it suits a machine door where the operator reads the HMI from a step back rather than close up.
Why not just fit a panel PC?
Because the computing is usually already on the machine. If an IPC in the cabinet, a PLC with a video output or a vision controller is producing the picture, a panel PC duplicates it — and hands you a second operating system to patch, image and back up for a decade. The monitor takes the spare output and adds nothing to maintain.
Which inputs does it accept?
One VGA and one HDMI. That covers the analogue output still found on industrial PCs and PLC HMIs, and HDMI from anything newer. The cable in the box is HDMI or VGA — one of the two, chosen at order, so the box matches your host.
How does the touch interface work?
Capacitive touch with a USB controller: it enumerates as a standard USB HID touch device on Windows and Linux, with no driver pack and no calibration routine. Where the host is a PLC with a USB port, it normally appears as a mouse.
Will the IP65 front survive coolant and swarf?
The front is a flat panel sealed to IP65 in an aluminium frame, with a face resistant to oil and to electromagnetic interference — the conditions next to a machining centre or a grinder. It is wiped down with the machine at the end of a shift, and the flat bezel leaves no groove for swarf to collect in.
What are the operating and storage temperatures?
-10~50℃ (14~140 °F) operating and -20~70℃ (-4~158 °F) storage. If your enclosure runs hotter than that during a shift, tell us the measured internal temperature and we will review the mounting clearances with you.
What are the mechanical dimensions?
The housing is 291.3 (W) × 229.8 (H) × 46.5 (D) mm, the panel cutout is 274.9 × 214.2 mm, and the monitor weighs 2 kg N.W. — light enough for a standard monitor arm, and shallow enough for a door with a busy back side.
