Industrial PC Applications by IndustryWhat the machine demands — and the platform that answers it
Panel PCs 8″–23.6″ · fanless box PCs · IP65 / IP69K fronts · serial, dual LAN and GPIO
Industrial PC applications are decided by the environment, not the datasheet: the buses already installed in the plant, the dust or washdown the terminal has to survive, the compute the software actually needs — and the cutout it has to fit. Every segment below is a selection guide written from deployments, with the port count, the temperature range and the specification to quote against.

Industrial PC applications: selection guides by industry
Start from the application rather than the part number. Each guide covers what the environment demands, which CESIPC platform answers it, and the ports, cutout and temperature range to quote against.

CNC
CNC architecture, the axes and the controller — and the industrial PC or panel PC that runs the HMI.

Food & Beverage
IP65 and IP69K panel PCs for washdown, condensation and gloved operation on food lines.

Semiconductor
How semiconductor and electronics equipment OEMs specify an industrial PC, built around the EPC-102B.

Energy & Power
Substation HMIs, fixed monitoring terminals and field inspection computers for energy infrastructure.

Logistics & Warehousing
Smart logistics, sortation and warehouse terminals, and the BlockCore™ upgrade path behind them.
Success Stories
Twelve years of deployments, written up as case studies: what the customer ran into, which platform went in, and what changed on the line afterwards.
Substations · food lines · machine vision · semiconductor equipment · port logistics
What every segment gets
One platform family behind every segment
Whatever the industry, the same engineering decisions decide whether the terminal survives the environment and whether the project can be maintained five years later.
Panel PC, monitor or box — one platform behind them
The panel PC and the box PC line share the same board (EPC-10XA / EPC-S12X2A), so spares, BIOS images and i-Door function cards are common across a machine, its cabinet and its operator stations.
Serial and Ethernet for the buses already installed
One unit carries 2× RS-232 + 1× RS-485, 6× USB and dual Intel I210 Gigabit LAN — Modbus RTU to drives and meters, BACnet/IP or Modbus TCP on the plant network, without adding converters.
Fanless, and sealed where it matters
No fan and no filter to service, and an IP65 front panel (IP69K across the CleanOps range) for washdown, dust and condensation — the difference between a terminal that lasts and one that is replaced.
Modular compute: swap the board, keep the cutout
BlockCore™ board-to-board architecture: replace the compute board, or add CAN bus, extra LAN, isolated serial or 4G later. The cutout, the wiring and the panel stay where they are.
How a project starts
From cutout drawing to production unit
01
Send the application
The cutout or mounting, the I/O list, the buses already in the plant, and the environment: temperature, washdown, dust, vibration.
02
We confirm the configuration
Platform, processor tier, memory, storage, part number, lead time and price — typically the same working day.
03
Sample or production unit
From 1 pc MOQ; the same chassis scales to volume without redesigning the machine face.
04
Support after delivery
Local technical support in Southeast Asia and Europe, plus spare parts and upgrade boards from the same platform.
Tell us what the machine does
Send the cutout or mounting, the I/O list, the buses already in the plant and the environment. We will confirm the platform, the part number, the lead time and the price — typically the same working day.
