Q: What is the FPM-1702K industrial touch monitor used for?
A: The FPM-1702K is a 17.3-inch industrial touch screen monitor used for HMI terminals, SCADA control rooms, PLC operator interfaces, factory automation displays, and machine control panels. Its IP65 front panel, wide operating temperature range (-10°C to 50°C), and panel mount option make it suitable for direct integration into control cabinet doors and machine enclosures.

Q: What power supply does the FPM-1702K require?
A: The FPM-1702K operates on a standard 12V DC input (2A). An optional 9–36V DC wide-range input is available, allowing direct connection to industrial 12V or 24V power rails without an external power adapter. This makes it compatible with standard control cabinet DC power distributions.

Q: What is the panel cutout size for embedding the FPM-1702K?
A: The panel cutout size for embedded installation is 420.0 × 253.0 mm. The overall monitor dimensions are 437.0 × 270.0 × 44.5 mm. VESA mounting is also supported with 75×75mm and 100×100mm hole patterns.

Q: Does the FPM-1702K support glove-touch or stylus input?
A: The FPM-1702K uses a capacitive touch screen. Standard capacitive touch requires bare finger contact or a capacitive stylus. For applications requiring gloved operation, CESIPC offers resistive touch or enhanced capacitive touch options through its custom ODM service — contact the sales team to discuss your specific requirements.

Q: What video inputs does the FPM-1702K support?
A: The FPM-1702K supports VGA and HDMI signal inputs. HDMI carries both video and audio signals. The display outputs up to 1920×1080 Full HD resolution with a 5ms response time, suitable for real-time process monitoring and machine vision display applications.

Q: Can the FPM-1702K be customised with a company logo or specific BIOS settings?
A: Yes. CESIPC offers custom services including BIOS configuration, system encryption, and OEM branding (custom boot logo) through its ODM programme. These options are available for volume orders — contact CESIPC sales for minimum order quantities and lead times.
