Who the EPC-W2422A configuration is for
The EPC-W2422A is the top configuration of CESIPC’s 23.6-inch (24-inch class) fanless panel PC. It carries a 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U, i5-1235U or i7-1250U — up to 10 cores, 12 threads and 4.7 GHz — with 8 GB DDR5 memory expandable to 32 GB and a 256 GB SSD in one of two M.2 slots.
Specify it when the panel does real computing, not just display: camera-based vision inspection, on-panel analytics or defect classification, multi-client SCADA on one 1920 × 1080 screen, or machine-learning inference that has to run at the edge inside the cabinet.
The i5-1235U and i7-1250U include Intel Iris Xe graphics, which no other configuration in the series offers. That matters for GPU-accelerated vision libraries and for driving the HDMI and VGA outputs at high resolution without loading the CPU. The entry i3-1215U uses Intel UHD graphics instead.
It is also the only configuration with two M.2 slots and DDR5 memory, giving the highest storage and memory ceiling in the series. Two M.2 drives let a panel keep the operating system and an image archive on separate devices, which keeps write load off the system drive.
Choose a lower configuration if the panel only displays an HMI: the EPC-W2462A, EPC-W2472A and EPC-W2492A all use the same touchscreen, IP65 enclosure and 562.7 × 338.4 mm cutout and cost less. The 12th Gen board pays off only when the CPU or GPU is the bottleneck.
