Who the EPC-202A configuration is for
The EPC-202A is the top configuration of CESIPC’s EPC-20XA fanless embedded industrial PC. It carries a 12th Gen Intel Core i3-1215U, i5-1235U or i7-1250U — up to 10 cores, 12 threads and 4.7 GHz — with 8 GB of DDR5 memory expandable to 32 GB and a 256 GB SSD in one of two M.2 slots, inside the same 229 × 160 × 79 mm chassis.
Specify it when the box has to compute as well as connect: camera-based inspection, defect classification, on-box analytics or machine-learning inference at the edge — and the same unit also has to accept an i-Door function card such as extra LAN, isolated serial, CAN bus or 5G.
The i5-1235U and i7-1250U include Intel Iris Xe graphics, which no other EPC-20XA configuration offers. That matters for GPU-accelerated vision libraries and for driving the HDMI and VGA outputs at high resolution without loading the CPU. The entry i3-1215U uses Intel UHD graphics instead.
It is also the only configuration in the series with two M.2 slots and DDR5 memory. Two drives let a box keep the operating system and an image archive on separate devices, which keeps write load off the system drive in continuous inspection or logging duty.
Choose a lower configuration if the box only converts protocols: the EPC-206A, EPC-207A and EPC-209A use the same 229 × 160 × 79 mm chassis, the same i-Door bay and the same 219 × 100 mm installation footprint, and cost less. The 12th Gen board pays off only when the CPU or GPU is the bottleneck.

All four configurations share the same 229 × 160 × 79 mm extruded aluminium chassis, the same mounting bracket and VESA pattern, the same 219 × 100 mm installation footprint, the same 3× DB9 serial (RS-232 ×2 + RS-485 ×1) and the same 2× Intel I210 Gigabit LAN. They also share the i-Door expansion bay.
