Mara: The RFID side supports both 13.56MHz and 125kHz frequencies, covering the ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 standards, so it handles most card types already deployed in facilities. Authentication, MES login, and work order verification all happen at the same terminal.

Pip: And the hardware is built to stay there — aluminum alloy or stainless steel bezel, IP65 or IP67 rated, operating down to negative forty Celsius on the extreme models, fanless cooling throughout.
Mara: The application table in the post maps this across manufacturing, warehousing, access control, water treatment, and energy — anywhere operator identity needs to be tied to a machine action or a production record. The MES integration angle is particularly well developed: employee login, work order verification, production data collection, and process authorization all running through one device.

Mara: The post does make that case — in-house SMT production, burn-in testing, and long lifecycle support are all cited as reasons to trust the platform for continuous industrial deployment rather than treating it as a commodity purchase.
